Welcome to my page, I am a Consultant Nerve Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London.

My work is the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic nerve injury in adults and children. Within these pages, I hope you will find the information you need but please feel free to contact me with any specific questions.

The material on this website is designed to support, not replace, the relationship that exists between my patients and myself.

I see patients on the NHS and as part of my research portfolio. I accept emergency referrals but these should be made and confirmed through the PNI unit at Stanmore (e-mail benita.patel@rnoh.nhs.uk).

I have a small private practice and am not on the books of any of the insurance companies (PPP, AXA, etc). My fee structure can be obtained by contacting my team (peripheralnervesurgeon@gmail.com)

Acting as a communications hub, the Nerve Centre on this website will allow me to provide access to various forms of data, including leaflets on conditions and procedures, information on support groups and exercises, and information for medical colleagues. The website is searchable for topics of interest and there are links to my twitter feed and contact details for referrals.

There is also an area for patient feedback, comments and testimony. This section is filtered and not all comments will make it to the live web site.
